The Impressive Desert Attraction

We’re happy that our large dome tent has arrived in Inner Mongolia again – last time we’ve set up Glass Dome Structures for Arxan Mountain Resort in Inner Mongolia as well. The attraction – our dia.50m large dome tent was set up within a week to host events for the Alxa Heroes Association 2017. This is a large-scale theme carnival event which has been held for 11 consecutive years. Many off-road fans had participated in this event.

The event dome of modern engineering – crafted with the utmost creativity – stands out against the competition and from the crowd! The most impressive structure on the desert is a 164 ft large geodesic dome, designed to serve as a desert stage, conference, and promotion venue. It has an area of 2,000 m2 containing a cafe, bar and screening area and will accommodate up to 600 people.

How the dome tent installed on the desert?

Our 50m diameter geodetic dome was installed on sandy soil with weight baskets, making itself stable and the necessary level. With a lower height, the geodesic dome tent is durable and resistant to windy conditions even on the desert. It’s the first time for SHELTER DOME to set up such a large dome construction and at the same time, it’s pretty obvious a successful project. It can be put up virtually anywhere and used for all manner of festivals.
