Shelter Dome: How long have you been the glampsite owner in New Zealand?
Valley Views Glamping: Hello, my name is Amber Tyrrell, along with my husband, Patrick, we own and operate Valley Views glamping located in the beautiful south island of New Zealand. We set up our glamping business in 2016 and opened in early 2017.
Shelter Dome: You have installed some bell tents in the glampsite, why did you decided to build geodome instead?
Valley Views Glamping: We started with canvas bell tents, but we soon discovered they were not suitable for our environment, as it can be very windy here sometimes. So I started searching online for something better. This is when I came across the geodesic domes from shelter structures.
Shelter Dome: What do you satisfy the most about Shelter Dome?
Valley Views Glamping: We ordered two to start with and have them shipped to New Zealand. We’re very happy with the quality of the domes. They are strong, robust and really great looking. They are quite easy to put up and can be done so quickly.
Shelter Dome: How do your guests love the dome tent?
Valley Views Glamping: Our guests absolutely love the domes. We have many bookings from people looking for something special, cool and quickly. They have been a huge drawcard for people.
Shelter Dome: Are there any expansion plans?
Valley Views Glamping: We have now ordered more, and soon we will have six domes from shelters structure. We would recommend them to anyone that is considering purchasing a dome for themselves, whether it is for starting a glamping business or for an excellent alternative to an extra room, which could be used for all sorts of purposes. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
